"Boss, you can't be serious about this idea," America huffed. To him, idea seemed unreasonable and unnecessary; this totally should not apply to me-
"America," his boss sighed, exasperated by his country's resistance, "this isn't just about you. The world is becoming more connected, more global-"
"And I've got great foreign relations going! Japan's totally my bro now!" America interrupted.
His boss let out another sigh, "Look America, this isn't an option; you can't decline. This idea has already been approved by all major world leaders. Now, would you please listen," America reluctantly conceded, though his body language was evident of his disinterest; arms crossed, head turned away, seemingly more interested in whatever passed the window. "The point is to adjust the countries to a greater level of comfort in interaction with today's youth," America at this point wanted to cut in, something about already being comfortable with dealing with the youth of today, but his boss held firm, "America, as the major world power, you should be a leader and example to those countries having a more difficult time transitioning; show them how to be as with the times as you are," flattery can sometimes be the most effective form of persuasion when dealing with an attitude literally the size of America.
America seemed to contemplate the idea for a moment. "I suppose as the hero I could totally lead the countries to the future. Yeah, I am pretty awesome like that. Alright, so when does school start!"
AN: So this is just the introduction; the real chapters won't be this short. In the next chapter I'll introduce the main OC. The story will be told from her perspective mainly, and I'll probably abandon this third person omniscient narration style I've used here. If you'd like, you could send me a description of yourself and I could add you in as an OC in the story.
