I'll Save You Tonight
Behind these walls
Closing around me
I can not breathe
My chest tightens
My breathing shallow
I cry
For all the people
I can not save
Tears trickle down my cheeks
Thinking of the last person I faced
Let me save one tonight
So, I push away with all my strength
Make it through with one short glimpse
Enough room to breathe
Enough room to see
I'll have enough breath for one more thought
One more action
And I push the button and watch I save and loose dreams as they float away.
