Hello! This is a LDD (Leslie didn't die) story. I loved the book ever since, even the movie. I couldn't sleep because of this little plot-bunny, so I decided to post it! Hope you like it! By the way, italic means that it's a flashback.
Happy Reading!
Sincerely,

Jess' POV
Today, Leslie and I are going back to Lark Creek again for a reunion. I actually don't want to go, but Leslie said she would accompany me here. I'm with her, and that's all that matters for me.
Leslie wants to go to Terabithia, but I made a detour to my old house.
The house looks just the same as it was. I can still see the old greenhouse. I laugh, remembering the old memories. I proceed to the yard. It's still the same, and I remember flying again. That's not the only thing I remember, though.
I remembered the day I met my beautiful wife right here.
"Watch out, Wayne Pettis," I said between my teeth. "I'll get you. You can't beat me."
"If you're so afraid of the cow," the voice said. "why don't you just climb over the fence?"
I remember turning around, not figuring out whether Leslie was a girl or a boy.
"Hi," he or she said. "We just moved in."
She came towards him. "I thought that we might as well be friends," she said. "There's no one else close by."
"My name's Leslie Burke."
Oh, Leslie. I wish we knew then that we would become, so much more than just friends. You basically just shaped my life, and taught me to be strong.
Leslie's POV
"Jess?" I asked. I found him in the yard, just staring at the fence. "What are you doing?"
Jess POV
I hear my name being called. It turns out to be Leslie. "Hey. I'm just reminiscing the memory of meeting you again." To which she replies, "Oh Jess."
I love you, Leslie Burke.
