I finally opened Maria's computer. Please read the profile update that I had, and enjoy this piece of hers. Possibly the last…? I'm not sure. It depends how well she does with rehabilitation. She had no notes, but this was probably dedicated to all of you, as usual.

Kaleidoscopic Love

Because when it came to buying ice cream, Natsume didn't want Mikan to know that every flavor reminded him of her.

Ice cream was Mikan's favorite meal. And yes, it did substitute for lunch. Because, to the naïve brunette, ice cream had all of the energy she needed for the day. Like a pick-me-up, only without any alcoholic connotations.

"What flavor do you want, Natsume?'

The boy next to her thought quite differently. He loved less of food, and more of wasting energy on useless things. For instance, burning random receipts found on the floor.

But he didn't want to upset her, and decided to choose a flavor.

A dilemma arose.

The flavors? Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and liquorice.

Chocolate?

That would mean that he is alluding to the fact that he could only think of Mikan's hair, which then lead to an obvious thinking of Mikan herself. Not a good idea.

Vanilla?

That would mean that he thinks only of her perfectly toned skin, and cannot live without. And wants to… lick it? No. Way.

Strawberry?

The thought nearly made him laugh out loud. That would mean he could only think of the prints that she wore as underwear, and that he wants to eat it. Who wants to eat a prepubescent girl's underwear? He shuddered at the thought.

Last. Liquorice.

He made quite the disgusted face, as he pointed at the black looking flavor. This definitely didn't remind him of Mikan, or anything remotely pleasant. It reminded him of Persona.

The taste sent shivers down his spine.

Yuck.

His theory remained true.

Colors that don't remind him of Mikan taste horrible.

He rolled his eyes while spitting the ice cream out of his mouth. His kaleidoscopic love got the best of him once again.

A total score of 20010349305930 to zero….

And counting.
