Master Sergeant Filch and the battle of Hogwarts
It was a dark night in May at Hogwarts, as the Death eaters prepared to attack. In Hogwarts herself, Argus Filch knew the school was in deep trouble, and ran through the defendants looking for his once sworn enemies, the Weasley twins, who knew the secret passages as well as he did. He had a plan, a dangerous plan, but one that might work.
Not many people knew of Filch's past, that he was from an American wizarding family and that he had served in the American army during Vietnam. He recalled the booby traps the enemy had used, punji stakes, POMZ-2 mines and the other deadly traps they had used. Filch also had another secret, in a secret room under his quarters, he had a stockpile of muggle weaponry. He had known that if Hogwarts was ever attacked in his lifetime, he would need it. With the help of the Weasley twins, Filch booby trapped several secret tunnels, and placed mines around the castle. Afterwards, he climbed up the astromany tower armed with his old weapons and set up a lookout post. Slipping on his helmet, he grinned to himself.
"Let's see if the Death eaters are as bad as the VC." he muttered.
At first, the traps proved quite effective to against the advancing enemy, three death eaters were killed by an anti personnel mine, and several others were wounded.
"What kind of magic is this?" Macnair growled, casting a shield charm around himself. Another death eater cast a super sensory charm, and noticed it.
"Their's metal things buried in the ground. They look like muggle weapons." the death eater muttered, "REDUCTO!" he yelled, blasting the area ahead, causing the mines to detonate, "Let's send in a giant."
The ground shook as a giant approached the castle, and began to pound the walls, trying to break inside. Filch responded by firing a grenade from his China Lake, the blast didn't do much damage but was enough to startle the giant, causing it to fall backwards, taking out another death eater.
"The tower!" Macnair yelled, "AVADA KADAVRA!"
In the tower, Filch took cover behind a wall, as the room was lit by an eerie green light, he responded by throwing a frag grenade towards the death eaters.
"What the hell is this thing?" one asked, before it detonated, wounding him. Filch chuckled to himself, but paled when he saw Lord Voldemort flying over the castle. Filch instantly ran down the stairs of the tower, as it appeared to explode around him.
"Shiiiiiiiittt!" he yelled.
