Yeah okay, this is short. So shoot me. I'm just getting warmed up, okay? I couldn't figure any way to shove the transitions into one chapter so you'll have to deal with chapter transitions. Like i said: Shoot me now.
-Puffin
Every day he wakes up. Gets out of bed slowly, eyes bleary and not quite awake. He remembers his dreams. Thinks about them. Lays on the ground, face pressing against the soft flooring. Wishes he was there. Hears the door. Sits up, sees her blonde hair. Says her name. She smiles. And then corrects him. His face always falls, eyes rimmed red. She keeps her smile, pulling him up. Ruffles his dark hair. Gives him a pat on the cheek. He smiles back weakly. She leads him out the door, inquiring about his dreams. He tells her. She notes them. Asks question after question. He answers them. Cries. Eats breakfast. And is stuck into a straight-jacket. Just the daily procedure. His name is John Egbert and he is a certified crazy.
