Thief
I am a thief.
It is what I do.
To deny what I am would make me a coward.
But tell the truth?
I'd be shunned within hours.
I'm at a loss for what to say.
If I showed you what I truly am,
You'd be scared away.
I know that I love you,
Of that I'm sure.
For someone to love me as I am,
I couldn't want anything more.
I was a thief.
It was what I did.
But now I'll steal no heart,
