Hermione shifted the heavy tomes in her arms walking back to the shelf to put them back before she moved down the shelf to search for another tome. That she needs for Hogwarts, if only I could buy these but I first have to focus on the ones I need for this 6th year, Hermione sighs.

"Why don't you grab the libri you just put back?"

Hermione's heart leaped at the sudden voice, she turned to face the speaker but her words died in her throat as she took in the girl with long black hair that was braided tied with a red ribbon. Gray eyes staring at her from behind a pair of blue glasses.

"I-I" Hermione started to say but she suddenly felt embarrassed for some reason because when it came to books she would not get his shy. Ah what's going on with me? Hermione could feel the heat rising to her face and she debated within herself to try an answer the girl.

The girl stepped forward, her height around the same as Hermione when she closed up the space between her and Hermione to pull the book called Rune Dictionary.

"I honestly suggest this book because there are many runes that has been lost due to lack of interest," she said and lifted her gaze from the book to Hermione, "and also this one it will explain the magical purpose." Hermione forced herself to finally look up from the ground where her gaze drifted to and notice a second book in her hand.

Did she use wandless magic? Hermione mulled it over in her head as she finally got her voice working and said, "Thank you for the recommendation, but I don't have the money for those extra books plus my school books."

She smiled, "Do you like books and reading the knowledge they carry in their pages?"

"Of course!" Hermione quickly covered her mouth to stop herself from baring without thinking but the girl didn't mind her outburst and simply chuckles.

"Good and this will be my gift," she said and Hermione brows furrow on how she can gift it to her when they don't even belong to her. Hermione eyes widen as she magically made a stamper appear and stamped the inside of the books before handing them to Hermione.

"Enjoy," she said and walked away leaving a confuse Hermione behind. Hermione didn't understand what she just happened to her. That she simply went around the book store to gather the rest of the books needed for the upcoming year at Hogwarts. Never letting go of the two books that the mysterious girl stamped.

When she went to buy the books the man behind the desk didn't even glance at the two extra books that were there.

"That will be one gallon and two sickles," he said.

"What about these two other books?" Hermione asked.

He glanced at the books and opened the cover only to close it quickly, "This two were check out," he said. Hermione blinks and the man rolled his eyes, "Hurry up, girl there customers behind you," Hermione nodded and gave him the money he asked for. She took her purchase books and put them in her extended bag. Already making plans on checking those two books when she got home.

Unfortunately, she didn't get to the two extra books before she had to board the train, better find an empty compartment to read.

She walked straight to the back of the train knowing that area had empty compartments, she quickly found one and took a seat after making sure she had her uniform on. So she didn't have to stop reading to put in on when they were close to Hogsmeade.

She first pulled out the Rune: Magic Properties book from her bag and opened the cover to see a glowing symbol of a shield with a book inside that had a quill moving as if writing inside the book. Wings spread from the side of the shield and a small banner at the bottom had latin written on it.

Hermione tilted her head, "Veritas nunquam perit"

"Are you learning how to speak latin?" Harry asked opening the door.

Hermione snapped up to Harry and Draco who peeked his head from the side of Harry.
