Olivia walked into the apartment she shared with Alex. Alex. Just her name could bring tears to the usually strong detective's eyes. She still couldn't believe this was happening. Just four months ago, Olivia asked the young blonde ADA out to dinner, scared she was going be rejected. That was the night they shared their first kiss, the night their loved started. A week after their first date, they made love for the first time after Olivia came over to Alex's apartment after a tough case. Now, it felt like all those memories felt miles away.

She was so stupid! How could she not see all the signs? The staying late at work, the calls to far and few in between, always going out to clubs. She didn't know how did she didn't figure it out sooner. She was a cop, for God's sake! This should be second nature to her. Olivia looked around the apartment and headed into the bedroom to pack her things.

Olivia flung open the closet doors and drawers and stuffed her clothes in two duffel bags. She didn't realize she was crying til she felt the tears on her hands. She screamed and kicked the bags on the floor, knocking everything onto the floor. Her sobs were heavy. It felt someone was crushing her chest and her heart. She was so in love with Alex' she didn't know how to let her go. But, she knew she had to.

Olivia gave up packing. She grabbed a change of clothes, her working bag, and her gun. She'd have Elliot come back and gather the rest of her things. She couldn't bear to be in the apartment any longer. Olivia sighed, trying to control her tears as she opened the door. Her world stopped when she came face to face with Alex. And Abbie. The two had the deer-in-the-headlights look as they pulled away from the kiss. Olivia glared at them. Alex opened her mouth to say something but Olivia held up her hand.
"Don't. I hope you two are happy together. Goodbye," Olivia pulled off her engagement ring and threw it at the pair. She turned on her heel and walked off into the night.
