Cookies- A NaLu Fanfiction
Lucy sat at the bar in the guild hall, terribly bored. Natsu had said he wanted to take a break before their next job, Erza was with Wendy and Levy was on a job, so she had nothing to do. She could write more of her novel... but what would she write next? Maybe Mira could give her some suggestions...
"Hey, Mira?" Lucy got the barmaid's attention.
"What is it, Lucy?" Mira asked.
"Well, I was wondering if you could help me with a part in my book. Maybe just give me some idea suggestions?"
"I'm not too experienced with that, but I sure can try!" The white-haired beauty said cheerily, moving around the bar to sit by Lucy. "What kind of book is it?"
Lucy blushed, "A romance..." she said shyly. Mira was sure to tease her about the genre; maybe it wasn't such a good idea to ask Mira for advice...
"Oh, Lucy, I think that's a wonderful idea!"Mira gushed. Yes, Lucy thought, I'm not getting teased for once! "Are the characters based off you and Natsu?"
I guess I thought too soon... Lucy mentally groaned. "NO!" She blushed, the same colour as Erza's hair. The worst part was, Mira was right. Her novel was basically her fantasies about what she wished her and Natsu were. But they weren't they were just nakama; which is why she couldn't have those types of thoughts about him!
"I'm just teasing," Mira giggled, "but you two would make a cute couple."
"I knew I shouldn't have asked you for help," Lucy groaned. "I think I'm just going to home for the night."
"No, wait, Lucy!" Mira called. "I have the perfect experience to give you ideas!"
"Okay..." Lucy was skeptical, but she reluctantly agreed.
"Be sure to come to the guild at nine o'clock tomorrow!"
Lucy nodded, then head out. She wondered what Mira had in store for her.
Natsu was picking a fight with Gray when he heard a familiar voice beckoning him. He left his fight with one last insult then walked over to the bar.
"What's up, Mira?"
"Could you do something for me tomorrow?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"Oh, nothing really; just be here at nine tomorrow!"
"Sure thing," Natsu replied distantly. He no longer smelt Lucy's sweet smell. He wondered if she had left early. "Say, Mira, do you know where Lucy went?"
"She went home for the rest of the night."
Natsu then rushed out of the guild to go see Lucy. It really was fun to mess with her.
A/N: So, this is my first fic, I hope people like it! If it gets positive results, I'll continue! If not, then I won't. I'll probably wait a week or so before publishing anymore just to see how it does. Thanks for reading! Constructive criticism is always welcomed!
