Chapter 1
One day Lorelai is sitting on the bleachers at the pool in Woodbridge watching Rory getting ready for her swim meet when a guy sits down next to her a little while later before the swim meet starts and Lorelai looks over and sees him.
''Hi.'' she says
''Hi.'' he says
''Lorelai Gilmore'' she introduces herself
''Chandler Bing nice to meet you.'' he introduces himself
''oh same here so do you have a kid here?'' she asks him
''I do 2 actucally Dylan and Mackenzie Bing.'' he tells her
''oh who do they swim for?'' she asks him
''oh a just a private school in NYC what about you?'' he asks her
''oh yea I have my kid Rory.'' she tells him
''son?'' he questions
''daughter.'' she tells him
''ah daughter's are a great thing to have.'' he says
''yes they are.'' she says
''so who does she swim for?'' he asks her
''oh Stars Hollow High she goes to Chilton Prep but they don't have a swim team.'' she tells him
''they allow that?'' he asks her
''oh yea Stars Hollow High made a special acception since we live in Stars Hollow they would allow her to be on thier team.'' she tells him
''oh that's cool.'' he says
''yea.'' she says
''so are you um married?'' she asks him
''no single father all the way what about you?'' he asks her
''oh yea same thing single mother too.'' she tells him
''so do you like this single parenthood stuff?'' he asks her
''yea it's not too bad even though sometimes I wish I was married.'' she tells him
''oh yea right same here it's hard raising 2 teens on my own without thier mother.'' he tells her
''so um where are you from where's your town?'' he asks her
''oh Stars Hollow?In Connecticut.'' she tells him
''oh cool.'' he says
''yea and you live in the big apple?'' she asks him
''I do in an apartment with my best friend joey across from my friends Rachel and Phoebe.'' he tells her
''oh that's cool.'' she says
''yea it's great having close friend's that are helping you raise your kid's.'' he tells her
''oh yea I...I know that feeling same thing with me my best friend Sookie is also and always a big help to me when I need anything she's there.'' she tells him
