When Harry met Ginny
Harry was very confused. He was told to get onto platform 9 and three quarters, but where was it?
He had asked a guard who laughed at him and walked off. Harry was getting desperate.
Just as he was about to give up, Harry overheard a rather plump woman say
"– Packed with Muggles, of course –"
Made the connection and hurried over to her.
Bewildered, he watched in amazement as she directed her sons (he thought they were her sons, they all had matching hair) into a wall. Just before her last boy ran at it, he plucked his courage and rushed to her side.
"Excuse me," Harry said to the plump woman.
"Hello dear," she said. "First time at Hogwarts? Ron's new too." She indicated to the freckled boy, who had a smudge on his nose.
"Yes," said Harry "The problem is – the thing is, I don't really know how..." Harry stopped there, as his gaze had wondered to a petite young girl, with a cute, dimpled smile.
"How to get onto the platform?" she asked kindly. Harry dropped his gaze and nodded. She soon directed him through.
After getting onto the platform, getting onto the train, he sat and thought about the very pretty girl. I'd like to see her again... he thought momentarily, before the freckled boy came in. After that, Harry very rarely thought about her in the first year.
Even after they were married, he liked to remember their first little moment together.
