"Realy?"belowed Fred"An exchange student?"
"Yes, I heard Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore talking" said Ron panting.
"Well I just hope they're not in Griffindor" said Hermione frowning.
"Why not?" asked Ginny.
"As if we need more people in the common room it's already crowded" replied Hermione and walked towards the girls dormitories.
Morning came as fast as it always does, but today thier was a different kind of excitement. Professor Dumbledore had announced last night before dinner about the exchange student.
Everyone was gathered in the Great Hall having breakfast and talking excitedly when the door of the Great Hall opened and Professor McGonagall came in with a girl with elbow length dark brown wavy hair which changed colour to light brown when sunlight touched them. She had big,brown eyes and looked nervous.
McGonagall and the girl moved to the front of the hall.
"As you all know we have an exchange student here with us." said Professor McGonagall "This, students, is Willow"
"All procedures will be the same" she continued
She placed the old sorting hat on top of Jade's head and not a second passed before the hat shouted "Griffindor"
Jade hoped off the stool and walked towards the griffindor table while everyone claped except Hermione who was clearly frowning.
She came and sat next to Fred.
"Hey, I'm Fred Weasly" he said
"And I'm George Weasly" said George who was sitting in front of both of them.
"Nice to meet you both" said Jade.
Soon the breakfast was over and the Griffindor table returned to thier common room. Jade followed everyone nervously walking alone.
They reached the portraite of the fat lady.
"Password" she croaked
"Lemon drops" said Percy.
The portraite of the fat lady swung open and everyone stepped in. Fred and George introduced everyone to Jade and she knew that atlast she was home.
