Spell Book Open
Author's Note: Parody of the Sara Evans Song 'Suds in the bucket'. Another Jade/Hsi Wu song parody. Hope you like.
(Jade now 18, is in the antique shop by her self. She looks to the clock impatiently, like she's waiting for something. Suddenly Hsi Wu enters, and she smiles, grabbing a nearby bag and running to him. He holds her and takes flight into the sky with her in his arms.)
She was in the antique shop – lets say it was a little past five
When her prince flew in – wearing his Demon skin
The J-Team shoulda seen it comin' – it was really just a matter of time
She was old enough – and you don't choose who you love
She left a note on the shop door – "Sorry, but I love him and we have to go"
That was all she wrote – her uncle's heart was broke
That was all she wrote – a word by word quote
Now her uncles are in the shop – looking out the window
Scratchin' and rackin' their brains
How could she fall in love with that thing and walk away
Our little raven haired girl grew up to be a woman
Now she's gone in the blink of an eye
She left her spell book open
And put up the stores 'closed' sign
Now don't you wonder what the J-Team's gonna having meeting about tomorrow morn
Nothin' quite like this has happened to them before
They new he could become a looker – and he was a smooth talking son of a gun
How'd he trick Jade - Convince her to up and run
Course you can't stop time – and you don't choose who you love
Now Jade's friends and family talking bout it non-stop - Wondering the hours away
How could she fall in love with that thing and walk away
Our little raven haired girl grew up to be a woman
Now she's gone in the blink of an eye
She left her spell book open
And put up the stores 'closed' sign
Now her pretty lips are up against his
And they're heading of town tonight
How could she fall in love with that thing and walk away
Our little raven haired girl grew up to be a woman
Now she's gone in the blink of an eye
She left her spell book open
And put up the stores 'closed' sign
(Jade and Hsi Wu are now kiss under the sunset, they soon pass a sign the says 'Leaving San Francisco')
