The happiness on everyone's faces
The adoring smile on her lips as she sees you
The sped up heart beats as she catches your hand.

The locking of your gazes as you feel the world collapse around you
The look in your eyes as you say her sorry, goodbye and thank you
The feeling in her heart as she screams for you to stop
The emptiness that follows as she tries to recognize you and if you have any importance in her life

The thundering of footsteps as you find her bloodstained body lying on the cold floor
The desperation in your voice as you plead and beg her to hold on, not to die (and leave you alone)
The last frozen smile on her lips as she closes her eyes forever after whispering
I love you
And as you cry and scream in anguish at the unfairness of it all you forget to whisper back
I love you too.
Its better to have love and lost than to not have loved at all.
