"Why me" Seth looked up from the ground. " why me? What did I do wrong" he asked Otto who was standing a little bit away. Otto answered in a cold voice that froze Seth "if you can't find out what you did wrong then you don't need to know". Seth looked down and thought about what this.
Seth got accepted to oblivion a school that was very ordinary. The school had a low acceptance rate not because it was a difficult test but because no one applied to the school. For what Seth read about it had average teachers, students really didn't do anything with their lives yet Seth found himself wanting to attend oblivion. He couldn't explain it but one day he found himself filling out the transfer forms and the next day he got a letter saying he was accepted.
Seth was elated and immediately told his best friend Otto who he saw as a brother not knowing how the choice he made would change his friendship with Otto forever. Otto took this as a way for Seth saying he was bored of hanging out with him and was leaving. "Look Otto I know this sounds bad but we can still text and all that stuff" Seth said as he stared at Otto who came to see Him off at the bus stop. "Yeah we can still text after you leave me all alone and to top it off you act like you aren't abandoning me" Otto said angry as he was being left alone and abandoned by his brother in all but blood. "I'm not abandoning you I'm just going to a different school ok"
Otto looked at Seth and said " ok no not ok how are you not abandoning me. You are leaving out of nowhere for no reason that sounds like abandoning to me" Seth looked down and thought 'yeah when you put it that way I guess I am abandoning him. Well it's to late to change the past anyway have to reap what you so'
Otto looked up at the clock and saw the bus was going to be their in a minute and said "since you finally realized what you did wrong I'm leaving" then walked away before Seth could stop him. Seth at this point was close to a mental snap as his brother in all but blood was leaving him without even saying goodbye. 'he acted like he didn't even really know me' Seth thought as he felt hollow and alone. The sound of the bus arriving snapped him out of his thoughts and as he got on board the bus he realized a few different things one the bus was empty except him and two the bus driver was off a little bit. Seth couldn't put his finger on it but he felt off but Seth didn't have it in him to really care and sat at the end of the bus and put his headphones in while playing random music.
As the bus was on its way to oblivion gene looked out the window and thought about how he reaped what he sowed
'One decision and my life has turned upside down. One stupid decision and I might have lost my brother. Oblivion better be good' Seth thought as he slowly fell asleep.
