Before even entering through the door she could already hear the screaming, the thunderous sounds of blows exchanging and the ear shattering crashes of broken glass and wood. Pushing the fiery red doors open, she stepped to the right just as a table flew by, narrowly missing her figure by an inch or so. The young girl paused for a second, her gray eyes taking in the scene in a single sweep. It appears as if the pink haired dragon slayer had started yet another brawl, dragging in about ninety-eight percent of the members into it.

Curses were exchanged, tables and chairs went flying, glasses were thrown…

The gray-eyed girl exhaled deeply, using her right hand to pinch the bridge of her brow feeling a headache already start to form. "It is too early for this shit," she grumbled silently as she stepped into the chaos. She stuck mostly to the edge of the room, ducking and jumping occasionally to dodge an unidentified flying object or to evade away from a brawl. Within seconds she managed to make her way to the request board. Quickly scanning the board, she tried to find a flier offering to take the shortest duration of time. The quicker it took to complete a request the better, she thought as her eyes snagged onto cursive writing on an unblemished piece of parchment.

Reading the request, she noted that it was a delivery mission. It was simple enough, a wealthy family offering to pay two hundred thousand jewels to send out packages. The job could probably take two days, but if luck was on her side, she was sure she could make it within a day. She snatched up the flier, flashing the paper it off to a smiling Mirajane's direction. "I'm heading out" she called softly, giving the ivory haired waitress a two-finger salute.

However, she paused glancing to her right where a blonde woman was gawking at her with a frozen stance. The grey-eyed girl raised an eyebrow, tilting her head signaling a "what?" and the blonde woman—Lucy as she recalled began to speak. "I-I w-was going to…" she trailed off and the young woman blinked at the imaginary waterfall of tears that fell from her closed eyes.

The grey-eyed girl shrugged her shoulders in response. "Sorry" she replied, although she wasn't and didn't sound very sorry. Turning heel, she gave one last nod to Mirajane before making an exit. It took another few seconds for her to weave through the brawl and she finally made it to the entrance.

Squinting her eyes up at the sun, she continued to make her way into the village. She made a mental checklist of all the items she will be needing on this journey and unfortunately, with her thoughts preoccupied, she did not notice the trio inconspicuously following her from behind.
