A girl walked down the street, taking in the beauty of Paris, this new place where she had dreamed of going for years. The wind whipped at her face and skin. The sun smiled down on her. Flowers nodded their heads and the gentle breeze blew orange autumn leaves of the ground. The girl named Evie Deasleux looked around at the wondrous natural beauty of this place. Of course, she missed her friends back in America, but her mom had found good work here; an assistant manager of the son of one of the most appreciated and well-known designers in all of Paris pays a lot. Smiling, the girl turned around to a voice behind her.

"Hi, I'm Adrien. Are you new here?"

Evie waved. The boy had a kind smile (and quite fashionable clothes, in Evie's opinion).

"Hi, I'm Evie. Yeah, I'm new. I just moved here, a few days ago."

"Cool," Adrien took out his phone and looked down, smiling broadly.

"Um...Adrien, was it? If you don't mind my asking, what are you looking at?"

Adrien looked up.

"No, no, I don't mind at all! I'm looking at some pictures of Ladybug and Chat Noir."

Wind blew Evie's hair, and she hugged herself. She couldn't help but notice it was getting chilly out.

"Ladybug and Chat Noir?" She repeated.

"Oh, yeah, I forgot you were new here...Ladybug and Chat Noir are Paris' national heroes." Adrien showed her the picture.

Now shivering, Evie raised a shaky finger and pointed to a boy in a catsuit. "T-that would be C-Chat Noir?"

Adrien nodded, then looked around and shoved his hands in his pockets. "Getting' a bit cold out, huh?"

Now it was Evie's turn to nod. "Although I'm not sure I could go to my house...at least not that it would do anything." She mumbled.

"How so?"

"Well, the movers haven't gotten here yet; they should be here in a few hours. And we need to call the heaters, for some reason, our A.C. is stuck on cold, and-"

"You could stay at my place for a few hours."

"Really?"

Adrien nodded. "Yeah. I have a pretty big house, and, lucky for us, our A.C. works."

The two shared an awkward laugh over this.

"Well, c'mon. I'll show you the way."
