+++ prologue
Fuko's eyes looked over the cliff, so beautiful. It was at sunset and the sky was a pale yellow, orange flames licking the disappearing pink clouds. Even the ocean was tinged with orange.
It was all so beautiful.
"What is this place?" she asked.
The tour guide smiled gleefully, this was his favorite part. He always took the tourists here at sunset. "Well, they say that there was once a young maiden who fell in love with a prince. The prince said he'd marry her in one condition, but before the maiden had a chance the prince married another."
"Well, what happened to the girl?" Fuko asked, curious. A part of her was scoffing, stupid girl. No man can keep a promise, Fuko thought darkly.
"She jumped off the cliff, her body disappeared beneath the waves and was never seen again," the tour guide ended, tears in the corner of his eyes. He loved this place, it was so romantic.
"Hah!" Fuko scoffed out loud, she walked closer to the edge of the cliff, until she was standing right on the edge. She looked down, the heights made her a little dizzy but the view was even more breathtaking from here.
"Ma'am, Ma'am, please, please step away from the cliff's edge!" the tour guide said frantically.
Fuko looked behind her, "Okay."
She walked to past him, closer to the car before pausing. Then she turned around, and ran as fast as she could, jumping off of the cliff.
"Ma'am!" the tour guide's eyes were wide.
Fuko jumped into the air, the wind had caught her. She spread out her arms, soaring through the sky.
At that moment, she felt a sudden piece take over her. She closed her eyes, and opened as she realized that the wind carrying her was dying.
In the corner of her eye she could see birds flocking everywhere, white birds. Everywhere.
She smiled, then the wind dropped her.
"Oh Recca, Oh Recca," Fuko closed her eyes, her mind slowly going blank.
