The sun blared against the sand and the ksin of the small 8-year-old who sat trimming a shell. His bright blue eyes were squinted in concentration, and his cute little pink toungue poked out of his pouty rose colored lips, and an occassional evil giggle scared off any who knew him. At long last he finished and a bright smile lit his adorable face as he yelled, "Now I gotta find him! Riiikuuuuu! He ran, trying to find his bestest friend in the whole island, "Riku! Come on! Where are ya?"
Hiding in the bushes a blushing 9 year old with silver hair and green eyes twiddled his thumbs mumbling alloud, "Stupid heart, shut up! I don't take drugs so why are you beating so fast? It's just Sora! Our happy, hyper, cute totally cuddl-Stop it, Riku! Crap, he's running again!" He quickly followed {stalked} the adorable 8 year old.
Giving up, with sad blue eyes Sora looked out of the water as he plopped down on the pier letting his legs swing. His bottom lip poking out in a sad pout, "Meanie Riku. I only wanted to give him his present."
Riku twitched as he felt guilt eating at his gut before he slowly walked down the pier and stuffed his hands in his pockets trying to look cool, "Hey, Sor. Sorry, but I had to to help Mom." He felt his heart skip a beat as teary blue eyes looked up at him and a bright smile split the tan boy's face.
"Riku! I missed you! Um..." He bit his lips in a nervous habit before shoving the sheel in his friend's face before saying in a small voice,
"Take my Heart
Hold it Tight
Love me today
And tomorrow night
You're my best friend
But I love you more
Please love me too
Forever and more..." His cheeks burned as he looked down at his shoes refusing to meet Riku's eyes.
"Sora...Will you hold my heart too?" Riku's voice was quiet, but when Sora looked up both of them were smiling.
"Riku..." The blonde glomped his friend, hugging his waiste tightly, "I'm sorry I couldn''t give you the shell earlier but my heart wasn't ready to leave yet."
Blushing, Riku hugged his crush back, "That's okay. When we grow up, we'll make a new shell together."
Sora looked up with his giant blue eyes, "Promise, Riku?"
"Of course!"
