Oh Locke, I am one who has always been so very void of emotion. I mixed up anger with happiness, sadness with revenge, I was never completely sure.

But it's been three years since the time we first met, three years since you touched my arm and three years since my heart felt heavy with ache.

Oh Locke, I know now, I know now, I truly know now.

I love you.

I know I love you, there is no other way.

I tried so hard to force myself to love someone else, Edgar, but all I can think of is you.

And today, I have something to tell you.

Locke, I'm here today.

And when I see you I see the courage and valiance in your eyes, I see your ruffled gray hair and your bright smile as you greet me.

And I see you love.

I see you love her.

So how? How can I tell you now? How can I tell you I love you?

"Locke..." Those words are so soft, coming out of my lips.

"Yes?" you say, you're voice is so wonderful. It makes me feel happy, I've never been so happy in my life.

I must tell you, I have something to tell you.

"I..." pause. Why? Why can't I tell you? I do not understand.

"Yes?" you say once more before you glance at the figure behind me.

And now, now I fully understand why.

"Nothing."

I can not tell you, not when you love Celes.

No, I can not.

But oh Locke, I love you!

And so long as you are happy, I shall be content.

For oh sweet Locke, I do love you!
