AN: Ok...First VK fic...so no flames! I will accept as many reviews as possible though...
Dont get me wrong guys, I love Zero really I do, but I wondered what would happen if this happened so...he might seem a little OOC
"Zero! Please, understand I have not changed as much as you think!" Yuuki pleaded from outside the door.
From the other side of the door, a gun was raised, a gun which was harmless to humans, but deadly to vampires. Something about that fact was highly inconvenient for Yuuki.
Maybe because she was a vampire?
"Go away!"
"Zero please..." Yuuki repeated as she pushed the door open.
That was mistake number 1 of the evening.
"NO!" Zero roared and as he raised the Bloody Rose everything seemed to go in slow motion for Yuuki.
It only took a moment for Yuuki to hear the huge BANG of the weapon about to end it all for her, and only half a moment for the pain to come.
Yuuki's scream was the most ear-splitting, heart breaking sound that Zero had ever heard, and as soon as he pulled the trigger of the gun, he instantly regretted it.
Yuuki fell backwards against the wall with a gasp, and she had to press her hands over the center of her chest where the bullet had struck, but no matter how hard she tryed to stop the bleeding, blood still flowed through her fingers and onto the carpet.
"No..." Zero whispered "No...I'm sorry Yuuki...I...can't...I have to go..." And he fled the room before he couldn't supress his hunger any longer, leaving Yuuki, and her blood alone.
Aidou heard the gunshot, and the scream and in moments feared the worst.
"Yuuki!" Aidou shouted, trying desperately to locate the short, brunette girl.
He didn't find her until he spotted Zero running from a room,the door left slightly ajar, and the smell of blood very strong.
"Yuuki!" he yelled again, thrusting Zero aside and throwing the door to Zero's room open.
"Help...me..." Aidou didnt know who said it at first, but then he spotted Yuuki, lying against the wall like a ragdoll carelessly thrown to the side.
Her frost white skin was even paler than before, and her eyes were so pain filled it would make even the most horrible person in the world feel pity.
But the worst thing was the fact that her frost white skin was covered in crimson red blood, all of it flowing from a single bullet wound in the centre of her chest.
"Yuuki...no...don't die." Aidou begged. "Who did this?" but he already knew the answer.
"It..was Zero...but don't blame him...I love him.."
And it was with her last breath that she whispered the words "Tell...Zero I love him..."
Aidou ran a gentle hand over Yuuki's eyes so that they would not remain open, and stood up, fists clenched.
"That BASTARD!"
