This is a poem i wrote several years ago and am just now posting for the heck of it. Feel free to give constructive critisizm as you wish but please note that i was slighty insane during the making of this poem as well as suicidal.

(I don't know why)

I'm afraid of what I keep deep inside

(You can't control it)

I'm afraid of getting scars

(You already have them)

I'm afraid of what I am

(You can't help the way you were born)

I'm afraid of this feeling

(You can't stop it)

I'm afraid of what I can do

(You can't control this power)

I'm afraid of pain

(You can't avoid it)

I'm afraid of myself

(Who are you)

I'm afraid of them

(These voices in your head)

I'm afraid of you

(You don't understand)

I'm afraid of this beast

(The beast inside of you)

I'm afraid of this war

(The war in your head)

I'm afraid of this storm

(The storm in your heart)

I'm afraid of this life

(The life that hurts)

I'm afraid of the future

(The future that hunts)

I'm afraid of what I am

(The mutant in you)

I'm afraid to cry

(The proof you can't deny)
