(A/N: I really shouldn't be on the computer right now, and I shouldn't post a new story because I've already posted so many this week, but live with it. Enjoy!)
Destiny
It should have been Leah.
The thought dawned on him on Renesmee's seventh birthday. She looked like she was eighteen, but she was really still just seven.
If only he had realized this seven years before, maybe he could have broken the imprint, but now it was too late. He was bound to Renesmee.
In the past seven years, Jacob had never noticed how Leah would stare at him; how it looked exactly like how she used to stare at Sam when she thought no one was looking.
Now he noticed, but there was nothing he could do about it.
More than seven years ago, Jacob had told Leah that imprinting wasn't that great. Somehow, it didn't surprise him that he forgot about that and became an imprinted zombie the minute he saw Renesmee for the first time.
It should have been Leah.
Leah was a more logical match for him than Renesmee.
But fate had other ideas.
