Last sacrifice:
Prologue:
It's not very fun when your thrown into a jail cell, been told you killed the queen who is your boyfriend's aunt, and also I don't know if they were just trying to pee me of but it was sort of ironic how I was in Dimitri's cell.
I closed my eyes thinking of him, if I concentrated hard enough I could almost pretend he was here with me. his brown chocolate eyes watching me, staring intently but warming my heart up. His hair would frame around his head cupping his chin, dark and damp like he'd only recently taken a shower. He would be wearing a sexy black coat and he would smile a real smile. One that reached him eyes turning him into an angel.
Then I dwelled on our memories together.
The way he saved me from cracking my head on the cement that night he came to take us back to the academy, the way he trained me and those ridiculous laps around the gym. God I hated them but if it meant him running, sweaty beside me I didn't mind. Sometimes he went shirtless. I then thought about Victor's lust charm and how he'd kissed me, then as he helped me through the ghost sightings and then the most defined memory, the cabin. God that brought tears to my eyes.
That's when my memory went blurry. I was picturing that final moment before he was turned when he looked at me with such intensity and love and a look that said, we will be together sometime soon I promise.
I stopped the pictures because I was now in full sobbing and tears leaked from my eyes. Rose hatchway never cried but I couldn't help them as they slid down my cheek and my mouth tasted salt.
There was a banging and then some yelling. I whipped the tears and then saw who stood before me.
He was dressed in dark black pants and a white shirt with a black tie and a black jacket. He looked formal like a prince. The funny thing was that who I was seeing wasn't who I was seeing.
Adrian stood before me but the only person tha I really saw was Dimitri. He was the face I was hoping and waiting for.
I was in for a lot of pain. It was like a welcoming gift from hell.
