…"All right, I've got everything packed…" Seymour thought aloud as he slung the bag over his shoulder. He turned to give the shop a last look, even sparing his vampire plant a caring glance, and then set out the door. He didn't expect to run into his blonde coworker on his first step.

"Oh!" he cried, almost falling over as his eyes met hers. He had hoped that he wouldn't find her before he left. It was going to be tougher to leave after staring into those green forest eyes.

"A-Audrey, what are you doin' here so late?" he stuttered.

Audrey blinked. "I–uh, I heard you were headin' outta' town from Mista' Mushnik, and well, I wanted t' say goodbye."

Seymour gulped. Why did she have to make leaving so hard? Not that she knew how he felt about her, but even as a friend, she was too sweet. "W-well, goodbye, I guess," he said, looking down at the ground as he tried to walk past.

Audrey grabbed the nerd's hand and squeezed it tight as he walked. "Goodbye," she replied in the saddest tone she could make.

Seymour ducked his baseball cap over his eyes so that if he lost it, she wouldn't see. He walked onward, almost making it around the corner before Audrey squeaked, "Wait!"

He turned and looked at her, praying that she wasn't going to make this goodbye even worse. What she actually said was even more surprising.

"Take me with you."
