A.N. So this is a fanfic I am writing for AlexisTheEliatrope, and they are writing a story for me. The first part of the chapter will be in Aure's perspective and then I may go to third person later and depending on if I want it longer I may switch again. Here's hoping that this chapter comes out as goof as I want it to and that it doesn't come out to confusing. -_-' Sorry ahead of time if it does get confusing.

CHAPTER 1
The wind blew into my face as I looked down to the deck from my vantage point in the crows nest. Sitting at the back of the ship I could see Tristan and his silent sister, Leala, discussing something, I didn't really care what they were talking about though cause I could never understand the gestures that Leala used to talk to her brother. I watched the two of them, the wind blowing their light brown hair away from their faces. I quickly grew bored of watching them though and cast my light green gaze to the wages at the front of the ship.
Just below the waves I could make out the graceful figure of my sisters Dragon form. Even from this high above the waves I see that she was almost flying through the water just as easily as any bird would soar through the sky. I continued to watch, awestruck by the sun reflect off of her light blue scales l, her spine fins occasionally breaking the surface of the water as she continued to pull the ship forward against the current.
I watched as her wings worked to propel her and the ship forward. Her powerful wings coming up close to her body them quickly and expertly she brought her wings out pushing water behind her. I continued to watch in silence when the sun reflected off the silver chain that my sister had wrapped around her tail.
Unconsciously my hand went to the necklace that hung around my neck. My fingers gently gliding over the pearls that thread over the entire chain that held them, only breaking in the front due to three cut pieces of jade that completed the present. I think back a lot to when I first received this necklace and learned that Colette hadn't stolen a single piece that made it up. Then not wanting to be the only one with something not stolen I found the pearls she had left over and fashioned a chain for Colette.
Neither of us ever removed the chains nor did we ever plan to, we even went so far as to vow to each other, not to remove the presents even if we could save our lives by doing so. I smiled knowing that we wouldn't hesitate to remove the chains if something like that ever happened, but it was really the thought that counted. I continued watching my sister's graceful movement and wasn't even aware that I was falling asleep.
...
Tristan, his sister Leala, and Colette ran around the ship trying to locate Aure, having all been called by the captain to his quarters. They all knew well enough not to keep him waiting and so they quickly ran about the ship, like piwis who had their heads cut off, looking for the blue clothed girl. Tristan making use of the ability that he was only to use on the ship quickly brought himself to Aure's favorite spot and wasn't surprised at all to find the girl in question fast asleep, practically tangled in the rope that was usually found in the crows nest.
Taking the step needed to stand over the red-ish brown haired girl he brought his foot to his friends side and began gently nudging her with his toes, she barely noticed and so Tristan decided on another way of waking the girl up. He created two portals one closer to the deck and one right next to the edge of the Crows Nest.
Having placed the two portals her picked up Aure, noticing now that her eared headband was crooked, and dropped her through the closer of the two portals following right behind her. She landed on the deck with a moan and rolled out from under the portal just as the light brown haired Tristan fell through.
Aure sent a glare in his direction, a glare which he didn't even notice. He simply turned around brought his long hair back in front of his shoulder and fixed his bangs back over his scarred eye.
When he finished that he turned back to his friend.
"Now that you are away, you can fix your headband and I can tell you that the captain called us to his quarters."
After he said what he needed to he turned back and headed towards the door that lead to the Captains room, a room that no one was allowed in unless summoned. Aure fixed her headband, knowing that the captain would not stand to see it lopsided with the chance that what it hid was view able.
After she fixed her headband and hair, she ran to catch up to the other three misfits of the ship. Having caught up to the three she grabbed a hold of her sisters blue scaled, webbed hand. Aure sent a nervous glance to her sisters clear grey eyes which were just view able from beneath the light purple hood.
Colette knew and recognized the nervous look that her sister gave her, it was a look that Aure always had when they were called before the captain, not able to say any comforting words as they opened the door, Colette could only give her sisters hand a comforting squeeze as the entered the spacious carpeted, large windowed room.
Right in front of the four 13 year olds stood a dark wooden desk and behind the desk sat the blank eyed man who had called them in. His eyes had no color to them at all, they were only blank white voids that practically stared knot a person's very being and uncovered their every fears. He had a scar that went from one side of his face to the other under his eyes and over the bridge of his nose.
He stared at the four children who slowly entered the room and watched silently as they fidgeted where they stood, he sat like that for a while, letting them puzzle over what he had called them for. After a few minutes in silence the captain stood from his seat and instantly after he stood the children came to attention and watched his every move waiting for his orders.
He brought his hands down on his desk, which resulted in a loud crash, and the children nearly jumping from their skins but they quickly hid their fear and again stood awaiting orders. The captain smiled to himself proud at how quickly the children had hid their fear after drilling that into them since they were young.
"Now then for your orders." The captain spoke in a harsh gravely voice as he stood tall, crossing his uncovered marked arms over his chest, the children remained where they were.
"We will soon be stopping at the Sadida kingdom, when we get there I want you four to run a little errand for me." The children only nodded, this at least gave the captain a sign that they were listening.
He waited letting his words sink in. "Really it is a simple task, one which anyone from my crew would be able to complete even a group of your age." Again they only nodded, waiting for the revelation of their task.
"I want the four of you to get into the Sadida Kingdom's castle and bring back with you the Queen." Four sets of shocked eyes stared back at him and he smiled, having finally broken their emotionless shells, something they would get punished for later. Not able to mask their shock as quickly the four only managed to slowly nod their heads in understanding. The one that the crew had named Leala didn't even nod but stared forward with wide eyes.
The captain dismissed the four children and went to his window watching the Sadida Kingdom Port come into view. Before the door could close behind the children he managed to call out a final order.
"And I don't want anyone at the port seeing you leave the ship, otherwise they'll be able to tie you back to us." The only reply to his order was of the door quietly shutting. But even with no reply he knew that the four had heard his final command.
...
I had just gotten over the shock of the mission along with the other three when Aure pulled me out of my daze and back into reality.
"So how are we leaving the ship before we hit port?" Leala looked between my and Aure then to Colette, putting together two completely different puzzles. The she turned back to me and her hands began moving in a frenzy of motions that the other two couldn't understand. Leala's hands stopped and then Colette tapped my shoulder.
"Mind translating for those who didn't understand that." Stated the blue scaled girl as her sister crossed her arms staring at me with gentle light green eyes. I sighed knowing g that this would've happened.
"Leala said we have two choices." I started hoping that the other two would've been able to figure out the choices on their own, after a minute of silence though I knew I had to fill them in.
"Aure and I can use our portals and bring the four of us from here to the port long before the ship docks or in about the same amount of time Colette and shift to her dragon form and bring us away from the port and closer to the castle from the water."
The two silently mulled over the options, and when I started to worry that we would've made it to port before they came to a decision Colette spoke up.
"Just give me a minute." Leala simply nods in understanding I simply reply okay while Aure is jumping up and down always excited for rides on her sisters back. Colette walks to the edge of the deck and jumps over board then a minute later the large, light blue dragon head appears at the side.
"Are you guys coming or what?" Demands Colette voice coming from the dragons directions even though there are no true signs that the mouth has even moved. Aure is first to answer the demand of her sister as she runs to the edge and dives into the water, coming up moments later soaking wet, and crawls onto Colette back mindful of the large find that goes along Colette's spine. Not wanting to get excessively wet I open portals and land gently on Colette's light blue scales quickly followed by my sister. As we start going Aure turns back to me.
"Tristan, you are such a girl." She turns back around and watches as the ship quickly disappears from view. I on the other hand watch as the Sadida Kingdom shores quickly approach. Leala taps my should and instantly after I turn her hands start moving.
'How are we going to get the queen?' I have no real answer and so I shake my head and she looks to the water and it swirls around Colette's body as she gracefully pushes her way through it. As we near the shore Colette's voice comes from the dragon again.
"You may want to hold your breath, I'm going under." After she said that she began to sink beneath the waves. The three of us on her back clung to the light blue scales and quickly in took a large breath as we were brought below the water.
Slowly I opened my eyes against the seas salt water and with slight blurred vision I gazed out around the surrounding area. Many fish swam around us as, none getting to close in fear of the large shape that had invaded their sea. As we remained under the waves a small bright red fish curiously made its way closer to inspect the four of us. It still didn't get close enough and as I stared at it the strain of holding my breath was getting to be to much.
Just as I was about to left the held breath go, Colette quickly surfaced and as soon as my head broke the surface of the water the first thing I did was nearly choke myself as I took in large gulps of air. It seemed like I was the o lyrics one struggling to hold their breath as three different sets of eyes are gazing at me puzzled by my reaction.
As Colette pulls herself to land, the three of us jump of her back onto dry land, clothes are soaking wet. Colette shifts back and some how being in dragon form saves her clothes from getting wet. Aure doesn't seem to mind, while both Leala and I try to wring out most of the water from out clothes. In front of us lays a forest and peaking out from the top of the foliage is the Sadida Palace.
Aure takes a step towards the tree line and turns back to face us, her usual childish demeanor gone.
"Into the trees before we're seen." She demands stepping and quickly getting lost in the thick under growth. Without exchanging words the three of us remaining quickly follow her through and without leaving a trace that we were their we all disappear into the trees.
