They were standing in the doorframe of the TARDIS. The door was open and they were looking out. The TARDIS was parked somewhere in space and beneath it was a star going supernova. They were holding hands. Donna thought that the sight was simply breathtaking, but for once in her life she didn't say anything. She was just so happy to have her Spaceman by her side. Donna couldn't believe how lucky she was. Her eyes were filled with tears. As she blinked a single tear ran down her cheek.
She squeezed the Doctor's hand and he squeezed back. She felt him looking at her, so she smiled and said:
"Thanks, Spaceman!"
The Doctor grinned at her and reached for her cheek to wipe away the tear.
"Thank you, Donna Noble!"
And that was all that needed to be said. They stood like this for a long while before they hurried off to their next adventure.
