Warnings: Sometime in Season 5. Wishing Fire'CxO'Ice a happy birthday with some drunk/party!Dean and protective!Sam – where the party is not what it seems.
Sam glances at his watch for the umpteenth time. Dean's been gone too long. Knowing Michael's out there searching for his brother makes Sam a mite twitchy. So sue him.
Dean's usually just as bad about leaving Sam alone for too long with Lucifer on the prowl, and that's another reason to worry.

Dean's naked but for boxer-briefs, sprawled on a sun-bed entertaining a crowd that he clearly thinks are attractive young things, but Sam sees instantly are grey-skinned succubae and incubi.
Shit.
"So t'duck says, s'ok, jus' put it on my bill…gerriit?" Laughter tinkles, Dean beams. He's awesome, a regular Robin Williams – his rapt audience hanging on every word. When Sam appears, he's delighted.
He waves expansively, beer sloshing over the rim of his glass. Sam, heart thumping, sees no beer, only blood. Dean's teeth are stained with it. A line runs from his oblivious brother's arm; one of the succubi's drinking from it.
They don't know what hits them. Demons scatter before a Winchester whirlwind. Bodies float in the swimming-pool as Sam wraps Dean's limp form in the first thing that comes to hand – an American flag.
Dean sways, grins.
"Didn't know it was 4th July, Sammy!"
