"Hey Angel." A soft voice said to my left. I tilted my head slightly to show the boy I called brother I was listening. "why are we going to that guild? I thought you said no one would take you? Take us?"
Yes. I signed. My hands moving quickly. But, from what I hear this place is different. I look over at my companion.
He was average height and thin but not unhealthily so, not like when I first found him. His skin was extremely pale, seemingly only a shade or two darker than his shoulder length snow white hair. His eyes were a beautiful bright blue. He was wearing a threadbare black shirt that had definitely seen better days, and faded blue jeans covered in various holes and rips. He was barefoot, saying he preferred to feel the earth beneath his feet. His physical appearance was a stark contrast to mine.
My skin was tanned from all my time in the sun, and I was tall compared to most my age. I, like him, was thin. My raven black hair was long, falling down to my mid back. Currently it was in a low pony tail to pull it from my mismatched eyes. the right was a ruby red and the left was a sapphire blue. my clothes were a lot like his. A threadbare green shirt and faded, hole, covered, jeans. I, however, wore a pair of beat up black tennis shoes, and a long black cloak. This cloak hid my giant black and red feathered wings. Angel wings, or demon wings, depending on who you listen to.
"Angel? Are you okay?" Blue eyes look at me in concern. "You were zoning out again."
Yes winter. I'm fine. I reply with a small smile.
"If you say so." He mumbles eyeing me suspiciously. "so what is it supposed to be like? this guild we're going to?"
I hear it's a place full of many different, yet kind wizards. I can see him worrying his lip as I finally spot the building the guild's in. what's wrong
"You say they're kind, but would they really accept us there? I mean no one else has."
This place will be different. I can feel it.
"Angel." He said stopping. He stared at the guild we were very close to. "I'm scared. What if they try to hurt you? Or take you away? I don't want to be alone again."
A sad smile found its way onto my face you won't be I promise. A part of me hoped I wasn't lying to him as I pulled him forward to the guild.
