"SP/dr, make a new journal entry. Ahem. It has been a week since the adventure in the multiverse. Ever since our return, we have tasked ourselves with not only repairing the mech but also finding a way to link with the other Spiders that we met on our adventure. With the mech finished reconstructed, we believe we have come close to finishing devices that will help connect its user to the other universes. End journal entry."

Peni Parker and SP/dr, her spider, were finishing up a new device. Designed to look like a wristwatch, this new device would allow its wearer to access any dimension they choose, but only from others who wear similar watches. Not only that, but it also works past the glitching that occurs when someone is outside of their native universe. They designed a whole bunch of them to give to the others, wanting to test them and make sure they work.

"Alright, that oughta do it! What do you say we take these watches for a test run?" SP/dr squeaked, climbing into the SP/dr Mech, redesigned with the watch's capabilities in mind. In one flashy sequence, Peni hopped in.

"And I know just which universe to test this out in…"

For Jordan James and Viney, life as Spider-Vine seemed to go back to normal rather quickly. After their adventure in the Spider-Verse, they pretty much went back to doing what they have been doing for the past few months: fighting Zombies as usual. Though they seemed a little dormant for the past week, which was noticeable since there would be at least a couple of Zombie Heroes missing from their usual fights. It was strange. But they did not mind since it meant more time for relaxing!

Right now, they were sitting in the newly-added Recreation Room inside of Rose's castle. They were planning to play some Garden Warfare 2 to wind down. That is until they heard an earthquake.

"Jordan? Viney?" Rose floated in, sensing the earthquake. "What's going on?"

"We don't know!" Viney was the first to speak up, just as a multicolored portal opened on one of the walls.

"Oh no you don't," said Jordan James, not wanting a repeat of last time. "Not this time!" He and Viney prepared to keep themselves on the ground until they learned that it was not sucking them in. In fact, something entirely different but familiar came out of the portal. It was a red and blue robot with a glass monitor for a face, which opened up to reveal… Peni Parker. This left everyone in silence for a moment until she spoke up.

"Wow, I thought you'd be more excited to see me!"

"Peni!" The duo rushed over to the SP/dr mech and hugged her, happy to see her again. "It's been a while! Well, okay, it's been a week, but it was so long!"

"Same here! So who's that flower there?"

"Oh, where are my manners? This is Rose, the flower sorceress!"

"It is a pleasure to meet you Peni! Jordan and Viney told me and the others all about you!"

"Thanks! ...Wait, others?"

"Yeah, this universe is basically Plant Heaven!"

"Ah. It's just… in the future, we do not normally see a lot of plant life. It's, you know, techno."

"Ah. Wait a minute, you're not glitching. How are you not glitching?"

"Oh, yes, arigatōgozaimashita!" She dug into one of the mech's compartments and pulled out one of the devices. "I call these Dimension Infiltration Equipment. Admittedly, the acronym is probably not the best…"

"Oh no, it's fine. Please continue."

"Okay, so these are watches that can trace the dimension of whoever is wearing one of these. These can also allow its wearer to enter that dimension at any time. Here, let me show you." Peni gave Jordan the watch, which was designed to look… viney. (Geddit?) It fits comfortably.

"Okay, now push the face." Jordan did so and he was greeted by a screen that kinda looked like a menu, which the most prominent section being the Tracker section. "See that mech symbol? That's me. And the leaf symbol is yours!" She was right. He noticed that the two symbols were in a section that was labeled "E-5509".

"So," said Viney. "I'm assuming that E-5509 is our home dimension?"

"Exactly! So we are planning to hand these out to the other Spiders that we met. You wanna help?"

"...Sure! So which dimension did you want to go to next?"

"Well, is there a Spider that you want to see again?" Jordan and Viney thought long and hard about their answer before speaking simultaneously.

"Peter Porker."

"Okay then. Just gotta find his dimension. Give us one second…" Peni and SP/dr tried to locate his dimension while Rose chatted with Jordan and Viney.

"So are there more Spiders out there?"

"Yeah. Same as how there are more Plants beyond Suburbia."

"Found it!" Peni located Peter Porker's reality, opening a portal similar to the one she first created.

"Come on!"

"See you later, Rose!"

"Same here! And good luck!" Those were the last words she said as Jordan, Viney, and Peni jumped into the portal.

One of the greatest things that Peter Porker loved about being Spider-Ham is that he always finds a way to quickly get back up. That was a given considering that he lives in a cartoon world. This battle is an example of that testament. Right now, Porker was stuck to a wall of honey created by the W-M-Bees, who teamed up with The Majestic Caraboom to do yet another doomsday plot.

"You know that whole take-over-the-city plot has been done literally all the time, right?"

"Silence, Spider-Ham! I will not let you ruin this moment of triumph!" Peter rolled his eyes until he heard a noise and an earthquake.

"What's going on? Are you behind this?"

"Nope. But I have some experience…" Porker was proved correct when a multicolored vortex appeared above the room, dropping a mech and a plant-human hybrid, landing right on top of the Cariboom.

"Peni Parker? Spider-Vine?"

"Porker?" They would have rushed over to help him but they were blocked by the W-M-Bees.

"Oh no, you don't!" Luckily for them, Jordan and Viney still had seeds for all their plants, so they ended up planting their Bear Plants, mainly Hibernating Berries, Pear Cubs, and Grizzly Pears.

"Hey, bees. You seem to have a lot of honey. You don't mind if my bears eat some, do you?"

"What trickery is this?!" That was all they had to say until the bears starting licking and eating all the honey, including the honey that Porker was trapped in.

"Now look," Porker said, wanting to end the fight rather quickly thanks to this unexpected arrival. "I'm just gonna go ahead and launch you guys while you declare our revenge, okay?" As he said this, he pulled out a seltzer bottle and squirted the bees, who escape declaring their revenge.

"You haven't seen the last of me! Until next time…" The Cariboom made his escape, leaving the Spiders satisfied.

"Alright, so shall I take you to my home?"

"Please."

Porker's dimension was full of animals, so Peni, Jordan, and Viney would get strange looks from everyone, especially since humans seemed to be nonexistent.

"Oh, don't mind them. They just don't see a lot of humans in person. Just keep following me." Porker reassured everyone until they got to his home. It was a normal house but it was good enough for them!

"Aunt May," said Porker as he took off his mask. "I'm home!"

"Alright!"

"So couple of questions: 1. How did you get here? 2. How are you not glitching?" That's when everyone gave the floor to Peni. She explained to him about the D.I.E. and gave him his own, going through the same process as she did with Spider-Vine. Also, his watch is more cartoonish compared to the others.

"This is pretty neat! So you gonna see the others?"

"Yeah. You are actually the second Spider that Peni's run into. We don't know who we are seeing next though. Any ideas?"

"How about Gwen Stacy?"

"Oh, okay. Everyone good to go?" Everyone nodded. Then she located Gwen's dimension and opened a portal.

"Let's go!" Everyone jumped in, while Porker just rushed on in there. Spider-Vine can tell this was going to be interesting...

AU: So there we have it! The first chapter of my Spider-Verse sequel. I have been getting some positive reviews about Spider-Vine so I wanted to do a sequel story. Admittedly, it may take a while for the plot to really get started but be patient. I want to at least get the Spiders back together.

Also, I'm aware that my other stories have not been getting updated lately. I feel that I am on a major case of writer's block, partially because of me graduating soon. Anyway, I may put the rest of these stories on hiatus until I can come up with a proper story for them. Sorry about that!

In a dark room, we see two figures. One of which is Miguel O'Hara, a futuristic-looking Spider-Man covered in almost all black. The other is Peter Parker, who looked like an old 60s cartoon.

"So that is what could have happened to all of these other worlds?" Peter pointed at the catastrophe that occurred in Miles' dimension.

"Exactly. I have been monitoring this specific dimension," said Miguel, referring to Spider-Vine's reality. "I'm certain that you had to fight a certain villain named, Doc Ock?"

"Yes…" Peter remembered his fights with him.

"Well, an alternate version has infiltrated this dimension, and I fear that worse things are coming."

"Well, what do we do?"

"...We wait. Then we make a special appearance…"
