Loki leaves Tony, but comes back in time to learn Tony is in the hospital. Simple little story that I had to write down. You can see slight FrostIron, but not a lot.
Disclaimer: I wish.
He had forgotten about the spell. It flashed in his mind Danger, Tony is in Danger. So he had to go back. He had to see.
When he returned, he found Rogers the only person present in Stark Towers.
"Where is he?" Loki whispered in a deadly quiet voice.
Rogers wasn't surprised Loki was there. "Why would you care?" He asked, hearing all about the fight from Tony.
Electing to ignore the previous comment, Loki asked again. "I said, where is he?"
Rogers still wasn't fazed. "Why, after all this time, would you want to know how Tony feels?" Rogers scowled at him.
"You want me to leave." Loki stated simply.
"Go ahead and leave, like you always do." Rogers waved him away, and turned back towards the kitchen.
The comment had stung more than Loki thought it would. "Well, is he alright?" He asked, already starting to fear the answer. A pause.
"No one knows." Rogers answered quietly.
"Can't I just see him?" Loki was getting desperate now, wanting to make sure Tony was safe.
"Do you really think Tony wants to see you after what you did to him?"
"What I did to him? What about what he did to me?!" Loki snarled.
"What he did to you? What he did to you? Look, I may not like Stark that much, but even I could see that you really hurt him. It's all your fault he's in the hospital anyway!" Steve shouted. There was silence for a few seconds.
"Hos-hospital?" Loki whispered faintly. Steve, sensing his mistake, tried to backtrack as fast as he could.
"That's not what I meant! He's not- well, technically he is, but- still..." Steve decided to shut up at this point. Loki stood still for a few more seconds, then promptly vanished.
He appeared at the hospital, running up to the front desk. The young woman looked up at him with a startled expression on her face, but before she could say anything, he spoke up.
"Could you please tell me where is Mr. Stark's room is at?" He smiled at her.
"Of course, sir." She melted. "He's in room 318."
"Thank you." He nodded and turned toward the elevator, heading to the 3rd floor. Once he reached the door, however, he paused, unsure of what he should do. The door ended up winning the little staring contest he had going, so Loki opened it and quietly stepped inside. He let out a shuddering gasp. Oh, Tony, he thought. What happened? He looked awful. Tubes and wires and machines were everywhere, beeping and buzzing and pumping air into his lungs and making his heart beat and keeping him alive.
"T-Tony..." Loki softly whispered at the broken figure that was so laying still on the bed. He walked and sank down in the empty chair next to his bed. "Tony, I..." He took Tony's cold hand in his. Tony didn't stir. "I...I'm sorry." He finally whispered.
I could do one more chapter, but I would appreciate it if you could give me soom advice as to what should happen next that would be great thanks!
