Unova Saga
Ch 1: Prologue/New Beginnings
My name is Brendan Andrews. I am from Sunyshore City, and I won the Sinnoh League with my Infernape, Torterra, Gliscor, Electivire, Bastiodon, and Blastoise in the October of 2008. I am recalling my Unova Journey. Enjoy!
"Now, Brendan, I have everything you need for your journey." Professor Juniper said to the eager, youthful Pokemon trainer. I had my bag packed with clothes, food, my Pokeballs, and my newly obtained Pokedex from the professor. The professor approached me with three Pokeballs, each containing a starter Pokemon. I was allowed to choose one Pokemon to start my Unova journey with. The Pokeballs burst open with a flash of light, and a Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott appeared on the lab cart. I scanned each Pokemon with his Pokedex, even though my choice was obvious. Snivy knew Tackle, Leaf Tornado, Growth, and Vine Whip. Tepig knew the moves, Tackle, Ember, Flame Charge, and Wild Charge. Oshawott knew Tackle, Aqua Jet, Razor Shell, and Water Pulse. "Each of these Pokemon are so fascinating and awesome in their own unique way," I thought to myself, "but I know which Pokemon I want to journey with." I placed my hand on Tepig's snout and said, "Tepig, I know you're gonna be an awesome partner. I know that because I wouldn't have picked you if that wasn't true." The Fire Pig Pokemon snorted smoke with glee. "Okay, Tepig, return!" I said. I held up Tepig's Pokeball. A red light came from the device, and Tepig disappeared into the Pokeball. "Okay, Brendan, the nearest gym would be the Striaton City Gym. Good luck, and call me if you need anything or have questions." Professor Juniper told me. "Thanks Professor, for everything." I said humbly. I took off running from the lab, and sprinted to the road leading from Nuvema Town to Striaton City. "Look out, badge number one, because you're as good as mine!" I thought to himself. Life had never been so perfect.
