A Dark Secret-Chapter 1
A/N: Hi everyone! I am a new author on , and this is my first Fanfic. If anyone has any advice, I will gladly accept it. I also accept constructive criticism. I hope you enjoy this Fanfic. Now, on to the story! By the way, this is a crossover between 3 fandoms, but won't let me put that into the categories. So, I'm just warning you so you know ahead of time.
Percy POV
"Wise Girl, did you pack the sandwiches?" I asked. "Yup, now put all this into the trunk before Jason comes, I don't want to deal with 2 childish idiots," she said. I proceeded to chuck everything into the trunk, as Annabeth packed the lunches into a cooler. We and the rest of the squad were going to visit Mt. Ebott, a mountain famous for its grandeur. And, all the disappearing children who visit it. There's a myth that any kids who visit will spontaneously disappear, but we didn't need to worry, or so we thought. About an hour later, the rest of the gang showed up and we're all packed and ready to go. With Frank at the wheel, we sped off into the distance.
Hermione POV
"Harry, park faster. We need to hurry if we want to get a few pictures before the hike." I said. "I'm just here for the food," Ron said. The 3 of us were visiting Mt. Ebott, as tourist season had ended and not many people visited at this time. "I swear, we could have just apparated here, it would've been so much faster," Ron grumbled. " Ron, will you stop complaining for like 2 minutes while Harry finds a spot, so we can actually go get food at the stands," I said, exasperated. We had decided not to pack any food, so Ron was getting pretty hangry. Harry finally found a spot and we all ran up to the mountainside. "It's beautiful," Harry exclaimed. "Yup, this is it," I said. "Let's go finish that hike so we can grab a bite to eat after," Ron said. "Now that's a good idea if I do say so myself," I said.
An hour later we met our hiking buddies, a large group of 12. Their names were Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Calypso, Reyna, Nico, Grover, and Thalia. Apparently, Thalia and Nico are Percy's cousins, and Percy's girlfriend is Annabeth. Jason was dating Piper, Hazel dating Frank, and Leo with Calypso. Perfect pairs and matches made in heaven, I say. We introduce ourselves and immediately hit it off. I'm talking with the girls, while Ron and Harry are with the other boys. After getting to know one another, we decide to start the hike. It started out great, with me and the girls in the lead. Me and Annabeth start trekking ahead, but we soon became tired and decided to wait for everyone else to catch up. "How does it feel to only be surrounded by only boys?" Annabeth asked me. 'It's actually quite fun, especially since I'm not that much of a girly girl and would rather play in the mud than dress up," I replied. We talked for a little longer until everyone caught up, and we continued our trek. At the summit, we reached a patch of beautiful yellow flowers. "Those are so pretty," Hazel exclaimed. " Hey, how about we all just picnic here?" Annabeth suggested. "Actually, we didn't bring food so we can wait while you guys eat," Harry said. 'No, it's fine, you should join us for lunch. We have plenty of food," Percy said. Ok then, I'll set up," Annabeth said, as she stepped into a little clearing inside the patch of flowers. Suddenly, poof, as if someone had cast an evanesco ( Vanishing Spell), she disappeared. Percy jumped into the patch to find her, and he disappeared too. Reyna cautiously stepped into the clearing, yet she vanished without a trace as well. "Guys, we have to go into the clearing and find out what's happening," Nico said. "Well, I don't think we have an option," Ron said. Cautiously, we all stepped into the clearing one by one, after the last person had disappeared. I was the last one left and knew this was the only way. I slowly stepped into the patch and felt my body slip away.
A/N Well, that was it, folks! The first chapter. Seems like even though the 2 groups are friends they really don't know each other. I hope you enjoyed the first chapter and will continue to read the rest of the story. I will post the next chapter as soon as I can, though to post I need at least 5 reads and 1 review. As always, reviews and constructive criticism accepted!
