THE DRAGON ALCHEMIST

Ed and Al received a tip on the stone from the north regarding the stone and an alchemist who was causing mayhem and destruction. Of course they are always eager to learn of the stone ,so they were not concerned who got in their way.

"Hey Al we got a lead on the stone,"Ed called out.

"Really what is it?"Al asked.

"Yeah the general gave us a great lead on an alchemist who uses alchemy to fuse animals together."

"Are you sure he doesn't want you just to take out this guy?"

"Well I don't know for sure Al,"said Ed in voice that sounded like it had lost all confidence.

"Either way I guess we should check it out,"said Al "I t seems there is something tearing up the towns" said Al holding up today's newspaper with the front page reading "The Devil's Creatures Walk The Earth" with a picture of a burnt town and a three toed foot print.

"Seems like there is more going on up in Greenland than we thought" Ed said with a smirk.

"Well I guess we should start that way,"Al said "since we don't have a ride"

"Guess again Al. Colonel Mustang already have us a ride" ed said with a smile "we leave tomorrow."

The next day they caught a ship bound for the hot springs of Greenland. When they arrived they found a town that had been burnt to the ground. The air smelled of death and destruction. The smell was so thick that it felt like you just jumped into a tub of blood. Corpses of young ,old ,female ,and men could be seen all around. They had been burnt alive. No human was left in this town(alive anyway).

"W, w, w, what did this? W, w, who...or what did this?" Al said crying for the slain as he fell to his knees with grief.

"This must be why we sent here!" Ed said with clench fists with tears streaming down his face."I swear I will kill who or what did this. I SWEAR WHO EVER DID THIS WILL BE SHOWN NO MERCYYY!"

The two brothers stood there in silence. In respect they started digging grave for the people who died. They wasted no time in completing their task. Once the bodies had been cleaned from the area they started exploring the burnt remains of the once prosperous town.

As Ed was rummaging through the remains he ran across a shard of pure white stone. He stared in wonder at the snow white shard. As he went to pick it up something moved from under the debri. It snatched the shard up and turned to look at Ed.

"What the hell was that? Was that a...Kimara?"Edward said in surprise. "If it was it had wings."
