There Was A Reason

How long has it been? A week? A month? A year? It feels longer than usual.

How long has it passed since our first meeting? When our fists bumped for the very first time, smiles curved on our lips.

I want to tell you, the only you in this world, a probability theory within these fate that there was a reason for us to know each other.

At the time when I saw your smile vanished from your face, replaced by a lost-of-hope words coming from your mouth. A statement of disappointment, trauma. However, I didn't think about "Let's give up" for some reasons. Looking back at the past, you were my only best friend whom I lost. And with tears to make it a whole.

Although friendship does have ups and downs, but my feelings towards you won't fade away forever. I will wait for you. Even if it's more than 10 years. Yeah, without saying anything. I'll wait for you to come back, even if you ended throwing me away like a rag doll. But as I remain to see you as a friend, I'll watch over how lean that back of yours with a smile.

I'm going to meet you, definitely. Put your arms around my shoulder again as we laugh together like we used to. Sharing stories and enjoying the day without a slightest worry or grey clouds.

It's pretty short, isn't it? Ehe~ I was about to make this into angst, but somehow, when I re-read it, the atmosphere is pretty light, isn't it? I can hardly call this as an angst fic. Even the author notes seem to be longer than the contain itself. But still, I hope you enjoy it.
