This is my first work, so many things at the beginning may seem a little choppy. Feel free to offer any ad vice if you notice I have any facts or words misspelled- I would enjoy any constructive criticism.
Basically, I've created a character, Naurelen ( roughly translated Firestar) who is the daughter of Feanor. She has remained in Middle Earth until about 200 years in our future (the time of my fic), and has had to face many challenges of her own. She is effected differently from the Doom of Mandos than the other members of her family, for a reason I will explain later in the progression of this tale. During her most recent years, she discovered a group of genetically enhanced humans trained to be soldiers (idea stolen from Dark Angel) and found that while scientists were manipulating the genetic code, they some how created a race which benefits from the best traits of two races- elves and men. Very complicated, but this will also be more fully explained later. In this future time, Man has come to such a knowledge of the planet they inhabit, they have somehow retrieved the two silmarils residing in the chasms of the Earth and in the depths of the sea. Far-fetched, I know, but I can dream, can't I?
