The Night Without Angsting

A parody by Sakura no Miko

'Twas the night without angsting,

When all through Japan

Not one bishie was whining,

Not even CLAMP's clan.

The fangirls were stunned

By their lack of despair

But hoped that sweet fluff scenes

Would soon fill the air.

The bishie were snuggled

All warm in their beds

While visions of lovers

Danced in their heads.

Subaru in his white suit

And Sei in his black

Had just stopped a fight

For a tiny lip-smack.

When elsewhere in town

There arose such a clatter

Touya jumped from his bed

To see what was the matter.

Away to the window

He ran, jumped, and dashed

And by Yuki and Yue

Was kissed, unabashed.

And back in Meifuu

The cherry petals fell

Making spring come again

With a beautiful spell.

When what to Hisoka

Should now appear

But Tsuzuki, his love,

With a hug so sincere.

With a little more help

From a talented source,

Shu knew in a moment

Yuki loved him, of course.

His new song was complete

Though the night was late,

Then he snuggled so close

And gave thanks for his fate.

Now Sei-chan, Subaru,

And Yue and Yuki

And Touya, Hisoka,

Tsuzuki, and Yuki,

Shuichi—the bishie

Were happy and angst-free

And forever—we so hope—

Forever will be.

Now the fangirl stopped

Put her pen down and sighed—

And away went her poem

With sweet dreams to provide.

But she wrote a last note

Ere she turned off the light:

"Merry Christmas to all,

And to all a good night!"

Author's Notes:

This was actually supposed to be a 'fic, but once I started writing "'twas the night without angsting" I couldn't stop. So here's my Christmas gift to all my readers.
