Summary: T'Pol fights logic as she and Trip share a kiss
Author's Note: This is my first fan-fic. Enjoy! Special thanks to Myst123 for beta reading.
This was extremely illogical, as T'Pol assessed her situation.
It was as if time stood still, but she knew it hadn't.
It was also illogical that she be so infatuated with Commander Tucker's body. Such physical attraction was without reason for a Vulcan. It was once logical, millenniums ago, when genes being passed onto one's offspring were important, a period when Vulcan's feared being eaten by sehlats, however she knew that she was beyond this irrational lust.
It was illogical that she be attracted to Commander Tucker simply because of his accent. She was often irritated that the universal translator was able to convert his accent for her language, only fuelling her desire. However she knew that her irritation was illogical, the universal translator converted accents to allow the hearer to determine the owner of a voice.
It was illogical that she was influenced by Commander Tucker, simply because of his smell. Once repulsive she now welcomed it, signifying his presence and igniting her emotions. The Vulcan in her found the smell and emotions evoked in her repulsive, but she now put it aside, desiring the feelings… her feelings.
It was illogical that she was so interested in Commander Tucker simply for his actions; many on the ship have performed numerous exemplary acts of bravery, courage, self-sacrifice and stupidity, yet when Commander Tucker had done these, she felt many different emotions; pride, admiration, love even.
And now she had done something illogical, one that took even her by surprise:
She had just kissed him.
Their faces were now centimetres apart, recovering from her actions, his expression changed from one of confusion and surprise of the kiss to contentment. Her expression changed from lustful to shock at her own actions.
They were just staring at each other eyes…
Then time returned.
She kissed him again.
It was illogical to keep kissing him, totally unnecessary for her to lose her breath.
But logic left a long time ago.
