Teito stared silently at the red skies of clouds surrounding what was left of his veiw of the seventh district cathedral.

Frau sighed, watching ahead of them, steering through the every-growing dark sky of the late evening.

He could almost feel the sorrow and longingful aura of the short teen behind his back.

"I think you can figure out what's evil and what's righteous for yourself, from now on."

He paused, thinking back on old, happy memories that used to make him smile, and also dark, ones; the ones that threatened to destory the mind, heart, and soul of the innocent brunette seated behind him.

'It feels...so long ago...'

Teito thought as he grasped his hand tightly within his chest.

Frau slowed the hawkzile, not that the mind-broken brunette took any notice...

"That's why I told you, I wouldn't mind dying by your hands."

The brunette's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates, 'Again?! Why...'

The bright red eyes of his angel, Michial, shone sadly at his own confused green, 'Master...you will understand...remember as you learn more and grow stronger..'

His thoughts cried out through his mind, echoing around his thoughts, 'Why not now?!'

'I would if I could, Master...I'm sorry. I don't want to cause you any pain, but--'

'No, that's alright...thank you.'

He felt the eyed-angel smile grateully at him as he wacked the focussed blonde out of his thoughts, causing the hawkzile to sway frantically lower.

"You stupid idiot!"

The blonde yelped in protest, rubbing the sore part of his head, "What gives, you damned brat?!"

The brunette's bright green eyes twitched frantically in anger, "I'm am not a damned brat!!"

Frau smirked, "Could've fooled me."

Teito lowered his gaze to the dark ocean waves of the sea below them.

"I...think I've grown up....quite abit."

Frau smirked, mentally laughing his head off as he faced the brunette's somewhat serious expression with an almost mockingly tone.

"Then, I shall ask thee to prove it."

Teito sighed, before moving his arms shakily around Frau's waist.

Bright Violet eyes widened in surprise, as a deep silence stirred in their wake.

"You know...I...didn't only lose things..."

Frau smiled, as the brunette held him tighter, leaning his head tiredly on the blonde's lean back.

The blonde blinked, before regaining his usual composure, "Let's go!"

The blonde was watching as the quick frantic breathe began to turn into a slow, steady breathe that brushed against his jacket softly.

The brunette began to mumble, "Must follow...dad...father...Land...Seele.."

The blonde choked a laugh; turning his attention towards the dark skies ahead of them, 'If only you knew...how much I care about you...damned brat.'

"...Zehel...F...Frau..."

The soft sleepy voice cried out to him, making him crack open a small smile.

He pet the teen's soft, hazel, locks gently, "I will always protect you...not because of them, because..."

He paused, placing a kiss on the brunette's forehead,

"I love you...Teito."
