Dear reader, this Dear America diary is not written like your typical Dear America Diary. It is about zombies so if you don't like them, please leave. I haven't read one of these books in a while. Please enjoy.

Diary of Ian Rivard

April 23rd, 2013
Georgetown, Massachusetts

So this is my first entry, again. I started a diary like this every time some big, possibly dangerous event takes place such as a natural disaster or a mysterious event happens, like bath salts guy. Up to now, I just rip out the pages I've written on and start anew. I am writing this diary to log my journey in the future, so incase I die from some cause I won't go as a nameless soul. You might call me crazy, but I prepare for the unexpected. I am not one of those wackjobs who go and make bunkers and stock up on seeds and Ramen Noodles and are on the show Doomsday Prepers. But I have a Remington 870 shotgun stashed somewhere in my basement, an Smith & Wesson M&P 15 round pistol in the back of my closet, a 20 pack of bottled water and a black backpack which held my camelback water pouch, an extensive first aid kit, a flashlight with extra batteries, and other such emergency supplies. I like just north of Boston, Massachusetts so if a hurricane comes through, the area is prone to loss of electricity and flooding.

Anyways, back to the topic I was originally going to talk about. The reporters are claiming there have been reports over in the U.K. of a corpse reanimating in a morgue and attempting to attack the mortician. Yes, a zombie. The report says the female mortician was attacked by one of her dead patients, who then in turn, went mad and killed her husband when he didn't believe her. Doctors are saying he imagined the whole event with the corpse because she could not deal with the fact she killed her husband. I watched the news all afternoon and there is talk it was just a hoax or a false news report.

I'm a big nerd when it comes to zombies and the like. I love playing the zombie games and all the good movies. My boyfriend is big into the stuff to but he was more skeptical then I was when zombies in the U.K. were mentioned.

Well, that's all I have to say for this entry. Hopefully I can continue this diary.
