Correct! Now for the disclaimer part:

Everyone is happy. Gryffindor just won from the Quidditch cup that means everyone must be happy. But apparently, not everyone is happy. Especially someone named, James Potter. He's totally in a bad mood. You may be asking "Why? Isn't he the captain? Isn't he the one who should be celebrating in the common room?"
Actually, he's in the bad mood because he just did not see Lily Evans snog Benjy Fenwick in front of him. He's so mad! He asked her out, last night… He still remembered that she said, "I'll tell you tomorrow."
She lifted his hopes up, and then brought him down again. A simple rejection would've sufficed, and then it wouldn't hurt so much like this.
James decided to burst his anger out on flying, like he normally would. As soon as the wind met his face, his anger subsided down. Just a little bit.
He's still angry, mad, and jealous. Yes, he's jealous. He, James Potter is jealous. He wants to punch anything- or someone for that matter.
He sighed angrily and entered the Heads common room in a very, very foul mood.
oOo
"Hello, James." Lily greeted happily, and then noticed his foul mood. She frowned. "Why are you in such a bad mood?"
"Of course you wouldn't be in a foul mood." He snapped coldly. "Snogging Benjy Fenwick was just fine eh?" he sneered.
Lily blinked in confusion. "What do you mean? I spent the whole time here in the common room to finish your bloody essay. You could even ask the portrait."
James stared at her, "Huh? Don't play dumb with me Evans. I saw you with my very own eyes."
Lily was taken aback. He never talked to her like this. Lily glared at him. "Fine! Finish your bloody essay on your own." She picked up her things and got ready to sleep. "Besides, I can't snog Benjy Fenwick. He is Mary's boyfriend."
"Mary?" James blinked. "Who's Mary?"
Lily looked at him skeptically. "Mary? Mary McDonald? My red- haired friend?"
Realization dawned on James as he processed the information.
"So…. You didn't snog Benjy Fenwick?"
"No. I didn't."
Lily stood to leave but James held her hand. "What about your answer to my question?"
Lily shook her head fondly, smiling. She kissed him quickly and ran to her room. "Congratulations, Captain."
James stared after her, dumbfounded.
And Lily could swear, she heard a "YES!" on the other side of the door.
oOo
Well, that's it.
