Entwined Souls
Prologue
December 17, 1987
If anyone were to venture into the forest behind the cottage, which they never did, they would have seen a strange sight. A young boy looking no older 4 was sitting on an old looking, vine-covered swing, which was hanging from a tree branch, in the middle of one of the coldest winters. It seemed as if this young, lonely looking boy, pushing himself on the swing ever so lightly, was the center of this small clearing. To some people this would have seemed maybe even a bit normal as lonely children tend to venture around alone but, why should he be lonely? Didn't he have a loving and caring family?
Yet, if anyone had ever cared enough to look closely, they would have noticed the cuts and bruises all over his small, frail covered by rags body and the tears running down his face. They would have noticed his slight trembling, which wasn't due to the cold and his almost desperate gasps for breath. No-one was around to see, no-one even cared to wonder where he had disappeared to. So when a 6 year old Harry James Potter fell to the ground, barely breathing, with blue lips and an already slowing heart rate, no-one was there to wonder if he'd survive. Well…almost no-one.

Kielo Destiny Morrison was every parents dream daughter. She was smart, polite, obedient and beautiful. Yet, Kielo was not happy, her parents might show her off to their rich friends and boast about her at many large elegant parties but they didn't care about her. They spent more time spoiling her younger sister who was more beautiful than she; they were always talking about how easy it would be to find her sister a husband. Kielo knew she shouldn't complain (which she never did), she had, had her many chances at marriage but every man her parents had presented she had scared off with her intelligence. Her parents had gotten fed up with her and had all but disowned her, knowing that it would reflect badly on them so they left her to herself. Once Kielo noticed this change in her parents and found out that they were planning to sell her, she bought a cottage at the edge of a forest and moved in.
In the forest she found a clearing, in the clearing she found a large oak tree and on the oak tree she had swing attached which was where she sat now, staring at everything and nothing. The air was still and stifling. She knewthey were coming but she couldn't bring herself to care. Snow began to fall all around her and she stood slowly, snowflakes falling in her hair, catching on her eyelashes and melting on her bare shoulders. Slowly she turned, her pale and slender hands reaching for her blade. Holding to it tightly she almost floated out of the clearing and out of the forest. Seemingly appearing out of nowhere, she stood tall and defiant in front of her enemies. Moving fluidly she held her blade out and uncurling her fingers she dropped it. Seeing their confusion she smiled wistfully, she closed her eyes as she heard the sound of arrows piercing the air around her. A blinding pain erupted in her chest and she fell into the welcoming arms of a dark abyss before her world erupted in blinding whiteness.
