Rewatching some of my favorite episodes of Smallville from Season 4 until the end, I decided to write a series of one-shots. I will post them under this title. Some will play off eachother and others will be random. There will not be a certain order, just Clois goodness. Enjoy...

She wasn't used to leaning on someone, to having someone she could depend on, to having a partner in crime. That had all changed when she came to Smallville, to avenge her cousin's death, and met Clark Kent. He was naked in the cornfield, with no memory of who he was or how he had gotten there. She had taken him to the hospital and met his mother shortly after that, suddenly they were living together, working together, and being there for each other. She had been here for months now, Chloe had been found alive and well, and now she had seen Hurricane Lana blow through. Lana had taken Clark's heart and stomped on it, pushing her relationships under his nose and enjoying his pain. She had fought the desire to hurt the raven haired girl, sure she picked on Clark, teased him, but her intent wasn't malice or to hurt him. That was just her and Clark, Lana was either a complete bitch or she was just completely self-centered. A stinging pain in her right hand made her look down, she had dug her nails into her palm,

"Damn." She muttered, watching the blood start to circulate again.

"Everything alright, Lois?" Clark's sudden question made her jump. He was so close she nearly dropped her coffee,

"Stop sneaking up on me, Smallville. It's rude and I know your mom taught you better then that." She turned around and saw that he was closer then she had thought before. He was only a few inches away from her, to her suprise she found her eyes drawn to his, they were captivating. She felt the familiar surge of desire course through her, but she hadn't expected to feel it for Clark. His hand was on her waist, it felt warm and natural. She leaned into him and rested her head against his chest,

"You know how happy I am that you decided to stay?" Clark asked in a whisper, him talking made his voice rumble in his chest. She was suprised and pleased,

"Why?" She whispered, not moving from his arms.

"I have never been able to relax around someone, other then my parents, like I can around you. Not even Chloe, certainly not Lana. It's so freeing, you don't spy on me, corner me. You just let me be me, Thank You 'Lo."

"You're Welcome, Clark. Since we are thanking people, I owe you a few Thank Yous. For helping me find Chloe, saving our lives, and welcoming me to Smallville. I never had a partner in crime before or anyone I could really lean on, it's nice. I really apperciate it and I think I might like it here." They stood there completely oblivious to the world, they never heard Lana walk up to the loft. Didn't hear her shocked gasp or her running down the stairs. At some point they moved to the couch in the loft, talking and telling stories, until she fell asleep against his shoulder. He drifted off shortly after her, pulling the red blanket over them.

A/N So for my first Clois one-shot? Like it or dislike? Please review.
