Her eyes bore into the back of his head. He knew the look she was giving him was similar to the one her mother used to give to Ron. He felt like he'd rather endure fifty thousand howlers than have to turn around to face his fiancée. Finally she spoke, he was worried he would have to speak, "I can't believe you just said that." She whispered with a hurt tone.

"Gin, I...its true." He was going to apologise, he was supposed to say he was sorry over and over until the words were just a default. But he didn't He heard a gasp almost exactly the same as when he had said the original sentence 'You're marrying me for my fame.' He knew it was the truth as he had seen her earlier with Dean, her ex. A smile had lit up her whole face and she looked happier than she had ever seemed with him. Harry twitched his head to face her and in that moment he knew all of this was definitely true. Not a single tear was rolling down her cheek. It felt to him as though the gasps and her voice were just an act.

"We. Are. Over. Harry Potter." She emphasised the last words with a death glare. She then grabbed a bag and left his life. She left as though she had never even been there at all. Harry's heart wasn't there. Instead his lungs had taken up residence and his heart was nowhere to be found. It wasn't to be found as she had taken it the moment he realised she didn't love him. Ever since he was 11 Ginny had loved him for his fame when he had thought she loved him for him like no-one else ever would. He felt like his heart was that very first squashed birthday cake he had gotten from Hagrid. Or it was the dead spider buried in Hogwarts grounds. Harry knew with his whole being that he could never love anyone like he had Ginny. But he was prepared to face that instead of a life with the girl who never loved him back.

"Fuck it." He muttered with anger and hurt, knowing they were the only emotions he would feel for a very long time.

"Fuck it all."
