In Love and War
Adam Park sat outside the Chapel of Love, while waiting for his Fiancee to appear. She had promised to be there no matter what her 'bosses' thought or said. He had been secretly together for a while now.
He bit his lip. His friends were going to yell at him when they found out he had eloped. They would maim him after they found out to who. He gulped when he saw his lover appear, and instinctively got into fighting position when he discovered she had brought her female boss along.
"Hon... I..." Adam muttered starting to feel the stings of betrayel.
"Relax, Power Brat. Did you really the two of you could hide information like this from me?" her boss cackled, "I came because their are things you need to know."
His lover joined his side. She was radient, a glow with happiness. Adam smiled nervously as he attempted to relax. Her boss handed him a book.
"You will need to read this after your wedding tonight, and one word of caution Adam Park... If you EVER hurt her... You will discover the darkness in me that even Zordon knows not to mess with," she said darkly before disappearing.
As the couple headed in side Adam tucked the book, To Bed a Scorpion, safely inside his jacket.
