Thalia was running through the trees, just wanting to get away from all of it. She was sick and tired of her feeling for him. Him meaning Luke, the cause of her heart ache. She knew that he didn't feel the same way about her and she was absolutely sure of it. Why would Luke want to love her? She collapsed on the ground and put her head in her hands starting to cry.
Luke P.O.V.
"Agh!" I was sick of my feelings for Thalia! Not that I was sick of her. I could never get angry at her, she was his only family. She was so beautiful with her electric blue eyes and black hair. Why was he feeling this way about her? "I should just forget about her" I thought. "Why would Thalia like me? She's the daughter of Zeus" I thought bitterly, "I'm just the son of Hermes. Pretty soon I heard sobbing coming from the forest. "Thalia!" I thought. Sure enough she was there, but with her head in her hands sobbing heartbrokenly. I felt horrible. "Shhhh I'm here Thals it's alright." She looked up and I brushed her tears away with my hand. "Why are you crying thals? Is something wrong?" I realized how stupid that sounded, why would she be crying? For no apparent reason!? "I'm such an idiot" I accidentally said out loud. "No you're not!" she said. She seemed to realize she said that out loud and blushed. "Thalia… there's something I want to tell you…. Something I've wanted to tell you for a long time..." she looked up at me, confused. "Yeah Luke?" she asked me. "I-I…." I stammered. "Spit it out already Luke!" I love you! I blurted out.
"…"
I sighed. "It's ok Thalia if you don't like me…." "I love you to she exclaimed suddenly. "Thalia?" "Do you really mean it?" "Of course I mean it you moron." She told me. Without thinking I kissed her. I was about to pull back and apologize she kissed me back. "I knew it!" A voice yelled startling us both, causing us to jump back. We both turned around to see Annabeth staring at us a triumphant expression on her face. "What the Hades are you talking about?" We both asked at the same time then blushed. "I knew you both loved each other I knew it!I knew it! I knew it!" She then started doing a weird happy dance then walked away. "She's right thought I whispered. I do love you." I love you too Luke." Thalia whispered back.
