3 Minutes
*+*A short story of a normal morning during missions.*+*
She opened the door slowly, she knew it was unpredictable when he would wake up, and she didn't want to be victim to a sour morning because of a careless mistake. Somehow she managed (against all odds in this horrendous mess that could once be considered a room) to get to her headband she had forgotten in sheer stupidity yesterday.
As she firmly knotted it in place behind her ears she noticed his new alarm clock she had gotten him for his birthday last week so he wouldn't make them wait due to his tardiness anymore. 'NO!' She screamed in her mind, he had set it very conveniently (to her dismay) to eight o'clock which was in she gasped 'only one more minute!' She started hopping her way through the mess dodging everything in the way of her bare feet.
BEEP,BEEP,BEEP!
The alarm sounded like a 21 gun salute to her ears. (A/N: you guys probably know what that is but just in case; it's what soldiers play at another soldiers funeral.) He sat up and smacked the snooze button- not before a few failed attempts- and rubbed his eyes.
'Maybe if I sit really still he won't see me…' she contemplated.
'THAT'S FOR DINOSAURS DUMBASS!' shouted Inner.
'Shut up Inner! It was worth a shot!' she retorted.
Unbeknownst to her while she was arguing with Inner the boy got a smug grin on his face. Aware of how annoyed his pink-haired team mate would be for a disturbance in the morning. He sucked in a load of air and…
"GOODMORNING SAKURA!" Screeched the rambunctious blond boy.
"You just LOVE to torture me don't you Naruto…" she whined.
"YUP!" he said huge grin plastered to his face.
"Fine good morning, now let's go get some breakfast." she sighed.
She turned to hide the smile forming from his antics. As they got ready and headed down to some much needed food.
