Revelation

Lelouch raced down the stairs, panting heavily as he rushed to escape the building. The hazy smokescreen made it difficult to examine the area precisely; however, the sight of two figures caught his eye. He moved over towards them, carefully examining with his eyes.
"I want to get back Lulu's happiness! Nunally, too! I want to be the one thing truthful to him..."
Suddenly, a familiar sound was heard as a sphere encased the two figures. Lelouch looked closer, to verify the two people as Rolo and Shirley. Shirley had been under the effect of Rolo's Geass. Rolo moved to take the gun from the frozen Shirley's hand. Lelouch scrambled to dash to the area in a panic.
"Rolo, no! Stop!" Lelouch shouted as tears began to form in his eyes.
"But, I must, brother! She knows!"
Rolo pointed his gun shakily at the immobile Shirley. Lelouch looked at Rolo, pulling the contact lens that had been suppressing his Geass and started to speak.
"Rolo! Don't kill Shirley!" He cried from the top of his lungs.
The Geass sigil released and began its control on Rolo.
"Aaugh!" Rolo was becoming instable, not knowing what to do when the Geass was placed on him.
A gunshot was heard, the sound echoing in the building. Rolo's Geass shattered, time resuming to Shirley once more.
"W-what..." Shirley fainted, falling onto the cold, hard ground.
Lelouch keeled down, placing Shirley in his arms. He then looked at Rolo, extremely discontent.
"Why... why did you try to kill Shirley!?" Tears fell from his eyes, flooding down to Shirley's clothes.
"I did it for you, brother, but I can see I made the wrong decision. I'm sorry, brother. I will not act like this again." Rolo kept his head down as he silently left the building.
The deep raven locks fell down on his face as he looked down. The tears wouldn't stop flowing. His grip tightened on the orange haired girl in his arms.
"Lulu, why are you crying?"
"Shirley!..." Relief had been expressed through his voice as he heard her.
His arms loosened as she came to. He gave a small smile and brought her closer to him, hugging her tightly. Shirley brought her arms up, staying close to Lelouch as well.
"Shirley, I... I don't know what I would do if I lost you! Please, don't run off like that again... Please..."
"Lulu, I'm not going anywhere... I'll always be with you because... I love you. No matter what, I came to love you... even though you killed my father, even when my memories were shattered... That's why I want to join you in the Black Knights..."
His head jolted upwards as he looked down at her. The tears ceased falling.
"Shirley! No, I can't involve you anymore! So please, don't... I don't want to bring you into the battlefield!"
"Lulu... if that's what you--"
Lelouch pressed his lips onto hers gently. His hold on her tightened; he didn't want to let her go.
"I love you too much to have you on the battlefield. Staying out of harm's way will leave me happier than I should be."
The girl in his arms smiled and nodded calmly. Her emerald green eyes look Lelouch in his violet eyes.
"When all of this is finished, I'll be waiting for you with open arms, Lulu. So look forward to a new day when everything is fine."
Lelouch smiled happily and stood up, Shirley still in his arms.
"Aah, Lulu!.. I feel like a bride now," She grinned as Lelouch started to exit the building.
"Hopefully, I'll be stronger by then. This is really wearing me out, you know,"
As the two traveled down the stairs, echoes of laughter filled the building.

Yeah, so Turn 13 pretty much had BAD END written all over it for me, so I had to remedy it with this. One thing I am glad about is that they did the death scene really well. At least it wasn't half-assed, so that made me kinda happy. Plus, Shirley finally said she loved Lelouch to him, even though it was in her last moments.
As usual, comments and criticisms appreciated.
