1) First Impressions
If he could redo anything in life, anything, it would be to reintroduce himself to Ellen.
Why did the Harvest Goddess hate him, why? What'd he do for her to decide, "Carl, you say? Oh, let's make him into a complete loser!"
Maybe it was the hair… it was rather boring. If he got a faux hawk the girls would probably think that he's cool.
Hell, maybe if he wasn't such a klutz he wouldn't have fallen over Ellen on her way home!
Of course he apologized, but nothing made him feel so lousy than when she'd laughed in his face. Of course—nothing he ever did was cool.
Before he could get up and leave she said through her fits of giggles, "Y-you look silly with egg in your hair!"
He could admit, he did look pretty silly. And her laugh was… adorable… he couldn't stop from laughing too.
